I am fascinated by the work and lives of creative people. As a storyteller, I have had the opportunity to document the work and lives of visual artists and independent makers across Illinois—people working outside of institutional systems, often in studios, homes, and unconventional spaces. These documentary projects focus on process as much as finished work, treating creative practice itself as the subject.
